MSc seminar, Autumn semester 2015/2016
The seminar is for students who have regisetered to courses with codes ITX8301 and ITX8302.
The first meeting is on Friday, September 18, at 12:00-13:30 in room ICT-411. The other meetings of the seminar take place on Wednesdays at 16:00-17:30 in room ICT-411.
The goal of the seminar is to work with the Problem Statement and background and related work of your MSc thesis topic.
Deadlines for students registered to ITX8302:
October 9: Choose your MSc supervisor, arrange a meeting, discuss the topic. October 23: Send by e-mail a 1-2 page thesis problem statement with research questions to juhan.ernits@ttu.ee. November 13: Send by e-mail the 1st draft of the thesis (min 5 pages). End of November, beginning of December: Oral presentation on the topic of your thesis.
Deadlines for students registered to ITX8301 (all items should be communicated by e-mail to juhan.ernits@ttu.ee):
October 9: Choose your potential MSc topic area. October 23: Choose your supervisor and preliminary topic. November 13: Written background description, 2-3 pages. End of November, beginning of December: 2 oral presentations on research performed in the area of interest.
